So.. I know I haven't blogged in a really long time and for that- I'm sorry. Life has become SO chaotic in our home lately that I barely have time to take a two-minute shower. Literally, our house is a zoo. But I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way.
This past year we added another little munchkin to the family, Miss Lorelei Mae. Let me just tell you.. I absolutely love this baby girl. She is definitely a heaven-sent angel and I am so grateful to be her mamma.
What a cutie, right?
Khloë did really well transitioning from "only child" to "big sister". We brought Lorelei home and Khloë wanted to hold her 24/7 and give her kisses to the point it started driving me crazy. I was shocked at how gentle and loving she was with her little sister.
Can I just say that raising one kid is intense, draining and sometimes downright frustrating. Two kids are 100x harder. To those of you with 3 or more, you are all my heroes. I hear once you master three children you can have as many as you want. We'll see when we get that far.
As if adding a new baby into the mix wasn't enough, we recently added a puppy as well. A beautiful German Shepherd Dog named Rogue. In case you were wondering, we got the name from X-Men. (Yes, we are a family of nerds.)
First off, Khloë LOVES her. Rogue follows her everywhere and they are BFF's in the making. For those of you thinking I'm crazy for getting a dog- don't judge. It's getting really annoying having people tell me I'm in way over my head. Rogue is the greatest babysitter/playmate/puppy in the world and makes my life so much easier.
If I'm feeding Lorelei and Khloë needs attention- Rogue is right there ready and eager to play. She is such a great dog and I would definitely recommend a GSD to anyone looking to add a four-legged family member to their brood.
Well, that's the update on our growing family and I'll try to be better about updating this. I wish I were as good about blogging as my sister-in-law who blogs every Thursday and has an impressive fan-base. Sadly, I think I'm too lazy. Maybe 2013 will be a better blogging year!
Later my peeps! I love you all!
xoxox.
